It covers three regions and five provinces in a succession of breathtaking landscapes. A true green lung in central Italy, the park boasts the highest peak in the Apennines and the largest artificial lake in Europe. A unique park with over 2,400 plant species present. From above, the Gran Sasso d&#8217;Italia Massif dominates the surrounding landscape, the cities of central Italy and, in the distance, the two seas Adriatic and Tyrrhenian. The king of the Apennines stands out vertically over the endless pastures of Campo Imperatore, a little Tibet, and, to the east on the Teramo side, with a majestic wall, over the landscape of the central Adriatic. Towards the north, from Lake Campotosto, one of the most evocative environments in the Park between Abruzzo, Lazio and Marche, one can admire the gentler profiles of the Monti della Laga chain, entirely covered by forests of beech, silver fir, turkey oak and turkey oak and chestnut. Si estende su 3 regioni e 5 province in un susseguirsi di paesaggi mozzatiato. Autentico polmone verde del Centro Italia, il Parco vanta la cima pi\u00f9 alta dell'Appennino e il lago artificiale pi\u00f9 grande d'Europa. Un Parco unico con oltre 2.400 specie vegetali presenti. Il Massiccio del Gran Sasso d'Italia domina dall'alto il paesaggio circostante, le citt\u00e0 dell'Italia centrale e, in lontananza, i due mari Adriatico e Tirreno. Il re degli Appennini si staglia verticale sui pascoli sterminati di Campo Imperatore, un piccolo Tibet, e, a est nel versante teramano, con una maestosa parete, sul paesaggio dell'Adriatico centrale. Verso nord, dal lago di Campotosto, uno degli ambienti pi\u00f9 suggestivi del Parco tra Abruzzo, Lazio e Marche, si possono ammirare i profili pi\u00f9 dolci della catena dei Monti della Laga, interamente coperti da boschi di faggio, abete bianco, cerro e castagno.
